![]() I don't mind loosing this functionality, I use the A/C only summer, when is very very hot. ![]() ![]() The low speed fan should be starter by the temperature sensor from the engine cooling temperature switch:īmw_e36_radiator.png bmw_e36_radiator_sensor.jpgīut this is another issue, first I need to check that the compressor can be started and working.Īnother issue, DME also check the outside temperature, and for some temperature range it's starting / stopping the compressor if A/C button is on. I'm not sure yet.Īnother issue will be starting the high/low speed fan. Or I can get this signal from the ihka panel. I can get the signal from the A/C compressor clutch relay (86B): The DME need to know if the AC is on, for idle regulation: So, If I catch the KO signal, I could start / stop the compressor, right? The temperature of the evaporator is managed by the panel, so I don't need to do nothing about it. ![]() ![]() When the pressure is to low or to high, the DME will stop the compressor. So, if it's passing from the pressure switches, it means that the pressure is ok, and the signal goes to DME, and this one will start the compressor. I think it communicate with the DME, one wire is for AC on and another one is through pressure switches. check this 2 wires from AC panel or module. ![]()
